Dr. Nichol
We wanted to give you an update on Echo.
She is doing great—a normal happy dog who just reached her first birthday last month and now at 45 pounds (although still pretty much a puppy at heart)---she seems to have gotten beyond almost all of her fears ----even fireworks didn’t phase her... She likes and greets almost all but the most aggressive dogs she meets on walks (but not so keen to the butt-sniffing routine) and isn’t afraid of people---readily greets and approaches visitors to the house after a couple of minutes and likewise on the walks as well.

Just wanted you to know how she is doing and that your recommendations worked very well---and seem to have gotten her past her fearful stage.

Dr. Nichol,
We have been working with Chaco and all your help has been wonderful. We don’t know what we would have done if we never brought Chaco to you. We are so thankful for all that you have done for us we really appreciate it, you have no idea. We know that Chaco will be the way he is but at least at this point we can deal with him and enjoy him too. I know he feels better too with lowering his anxiety level but will always have some but we can deal with that at this point. Again we thank you and will keep in touch through the years.
Sincerely, Joyce & Lyle

Hi Dr. Nichol,
It has been a long time. I just wanted you to know all cats are getting along and all are on "free-range" meaning all are out 24/7 together. Been this way for a while and no meds for any. There are a few "scuffles" now and then, more in the sense of play and I have learned bengals are more vocal than many cats.

As you know there were times when I was in tears, ready to give up and with A LOT of patience, and help from you, it all worked out. From the bottom of all of our hearts, thank you for all you did to help and guide us. It took almost a year but there is now peace in the household!!!
Sincerely,
Audry Dryden

Dear Dr. Nichol,
Merry Christmas! Bonnie is doing great. We just went on a two week vacation and she stayed with the house sitter. There was not even one incident and Sam and I are so happy. She is starting to interact more with other dogs as well as people. Just wanted to let you know that you have made a big difference in our lives and we thank you. We couldn't be happier with our relationship with you.  It was certainly worth it as Bonnie is a great dog.

Dr. Nichol,
Our previously vicious basset, Pepper … has become a nicely mannered dog. He especially loves our grandchildren. We are grateful for your lessons about a year ago.  It works!

Hi Dr. Nichol,
Arthur is doing A LOT better. He still is wearing his "drag line" and has been put in time out... or should I say the drag line has been placed in the laundry room with the door shut and once I don't hear any noises I open the door like I forgot it was closed. I don't make a fuss about anything. He hasn't done any resource guarding lately and he gets banished when he starts to act like a toddler because of the other dogs. I think I'm more calm now and it's helped out the whole group of dogs. Anyway, things are much better and I will continue to put the drag line in another room when I see that it fits the situation, although once Arthur realizes he's done something he shouldn't, he runs into his crate.
Thank you for all our help! It was great advice and something that I could handle.
For the love of dogs,
Terrilynn

Dr. Jeff,
I am thrilled to be able to write you with these updates about Mitzvah. Manny's arrival and Mitz's response had me so sad... and feeling very frightened and hopeless...She has made great strides. Rather, because you taught us how we should be responding (or not?) to her we are all reaping the rewards. i am forever in your debt.
Again, thank you.
