Dog fights

Sadly, aggression between family dogs is common. Friendships between canine besties can take a bad turn. I’ve sutured and stapled plenty of wounds and even repaired a few fractures resulting from nasty altercations. Since specializing in veterinary behavior medicine, I now help pet parents with this potentially dangerous problem among pupsters they love. Nobody wants to rehome a fuzzy family member. Worst of all, you are already doing your best to break up these brawls while trying to make it better but it worsens anyway. You might get hurt in the process. We can help most of these angry dogs but not with reprimands and punishment.
