Build staff morale! A shared passion! Bring your own? Barking, biting, messes, bathroom breaks? I love office pets but it’s not all fun and games. My veterinary hospital always had a “clinic” cat who visited the staff and our clients. He would relax on the reception counter, accepting free petting and affection. You’ll need to have a reliable structure to get the idea past your boss. I’ll explain the “shoulds” and “should nots” of rules and accountability.
